Variety For Children's Charity
Updated On: Aug 08, 2012

This charity was brought to our attention recently by one of our own firefighter's, Jeff List, who's family has received benefits from this very organization. The organization is a sponsor of children under the age of 21 with mobility disabilities, and works to make their lives more comfortable and to live their life to the fullest extent.

This is a very important chariety for the members of I.A.F.F. Local #10. Union Vice President and firefighter Jeff List daughter, Danielle has CDG and is confined to the use of a wheel chair for transportation. This chariety allows children to go to summer camp for a week expense free, and includes transportation. (The camp is not an overnight camp.) The chariety also assist with other transportation issues such as the purchase of a wheel chair  or other mobility devices like chair lifts, house ramps, adaptive car seats, etc.
